Record Store Day quantities
RSD quantities are normally based on a shop’s orders over the year from a record company which is something I whole heartedly agree with. However given how few new CDs we sell now I imagine that will impact on the quantities we receive of the really limited stuff. All shops figures are down so it is all relative but we are hit particularly hard these days by having to compete with both HMV and FOPP.

Hi there, currently writing a piece about Record Store Day in Scotland and why it is important. I am a keen colector of records myself, although I have only just started but love limited edition vinyls, and am just wondering what vinyls you wil be getting in for Record Store Day. I totally apreciate that it may be difficult to get a lot of stock, but I stay in Dundee, so am plannig on making a day out of it, so I can travel to get as many records as possible. The Arctic Monkeys, Mastodon/Feist and any of the Third Man releases are the ones that I’m most excited about.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated
