Kid Canaveral in-store update – more info from Fence

The in-store to celebrate the vinyl release of our best selling album of last year is now confirmed for Saturday 16th July.

Fence have very kindly given us this lovely version of the Kid Canaveral vinyl pressing.

The songs on SHOUTING At Wildlife have been remastered for this vinyl pressing by Reuben Taylor (James Yorkston & The Athletes) – and they have never sounded better. And, on the matt-finished outer sleeve of the vinyl, the fantastic artwork by Eve McConnachie really comes to life – larger, bolder, lovelier.

Don’t have a record player?  Don’t worry!  The vinyl comes with a copy of the CD, with all the tracks on there.

AND each copy comes with a cassette tape (with download code) for the Kid’s new single And Another Thing!! . On the flip of the tape there’s a süped-up firecracker cover of King Creosote’s bad-sex lament, ‘Missionary’.  The track features an accordion intro & solo, as well as backing vocals, from Fence label boss, King Kenny Anderson himself.

We won’t be taking pre-orders as there will be no problem picking up a copy on the day and all for a very reasonable price.
