The time has come to give our coffee machine a new home. When the coffee shop worked well it worked very well indeed especially at in-stores but we are quiet most of the day too often to make it viable. Whereas we can sometimes take a day’s takings in the last couple of hours the coffee shop needs a more regular flow of customers. We had always had a Plan B to use the coffee counter as our main counter and utilise the current counter space to extend our vinyl section and once we bought in the large record collection recently the sense of that became even clearer.
I genuinely do not know myself what we will be doing after Christmas with the rest of the shop but certainly this part of the jigsaw seems to make perfect sense. Boxes on the floor could never be a long term solution. It is top of the range and makes fantastic coffee but doesn’t come cheap. However I’m selling the machine plus all the other accessories for £3,500 + VAT (a saving of £2K+ on new). The grinder has already been sold but I could get one for somebody who wanted everything needed to get started. Prospective owners will be vetted to make sure it gets a good home !
